Job Responsibilities

Technical Design

  • Assist in delivery of technical strategy and solutions for the company Customer
  • Understand customer project objective and requirement and develop the design/solutions to
  • Generate technical documents to support the bid response (Proposal, RFI, RFP)
  • Research for solution and provide technical proposal/write up together to support the Sales Bid.
  • Presentation Pitching of solution proposed to Sales and Customer
  • Conduct solution Demonstration or Proof of concept when required

Relationship

  • Develop and maintain honest open relationships with Account Managers/Directors and the Solution team and colleagues in other functional department
  • Develop and maintain honest open relationship with Customers, Partners and Principals

Commercial

  • Awareness of solution technical components and their commercial implication to the customer
  • Awareness of alternative/competitive technologies and solution that can be used to fulfil customer’s requirement within their budget constraints
  • Ensure that technical solution propose meet the customer commercial and technical requirements

Training

  • Evaluate and test new technology/solutions keeping up with current technology trends
  • Attend product and technology training that is beneficial to the company growth
  • Conduct internal training to sales and junior technical staff

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of the following : Sales process, Technical Proposal write up and RFP/RFI technical response, Production of Bill of Material
  • Knowledge and experience in Enterprise Infrastructure production focusing on System, Network, Virtualization, Storage System, Security
  • Technical and Sales Certification in various technologies and Product (VMware, Microsoft, Storage, Network)
  • Excellent Documentation and verbal communication skills
  • Consultancy skills – under customer issues/requirements whilst delivering solution to address these
  • Ability to deliver demonstration to illustrate our solutions to customer
  • Strong PR skills instilling confidence and comfort level with Sales and Customer
  • Participate effectively as part of the sales Bid team
  • Strong self-motivation with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong Analytical skills to be able to grasp issues, potential gaps and address them
  • Previous experience in System Integrator company in similar capacity
  • Current industry and competitor knowledge in enterprise infrastructure solutions
  • 3 years’ experience System Integrator experience in similar capacity
  • Experience and skills in developing and delivering technical presentation to up to and including CTO level
